90s Stone Island Mock Neck Knit L Vintage

This is a vintage Stone Island knit, estimated to be from the late 90s.
I received it from my grandfather, who told me he purchased it at Matsuzakaya department store, making it an authentic piece.
It's a model from before the introduction of QR codes.
It features a mock neck that stands up slightly, and has the practical design and stiff ribbing characteristic of Stone Island at the time.
The 6-digit product code "847233" is printed on the lower right of the brand tag at the neck.
The material is believed to be primarily wool, and it has a slightly stiff and itchy feel, typical of the era, rather than the softness of current products.
The washing instructions tag is illegible due to product dyeing and years of use, which is a common condition for older Stone Island pieces.
It has been washed once, and as a result, it has become slightly tighter, but there are no significant shrinkage or damage that would hinder wear.
